Hi, I’m Sallie, the owner of Reflections. I completed a two year course at Scarborough College in Beauty therapy. Previous to this I worked in childcare, and after travelling the east coast of Canada I realised I had a passion for beauty/holistic therapies. I pursued this and worked in a salon for four years, and then decided to go down the self employed route as a mobile beauty therapist and also set up a treatment room at home. Eventually I set up Reflections Holistic Beauty Salon in 2007. I have completed a number of extra courses including reflexology, dermalogica skincare, advanced skincare and Indian head massage etc. I pride myself in professionalism and friendliness and work hard in creating a calming ambiance for our clients to enjoy. Working as a team is a very high priority and customer care is essential. We all work great together to ensure this happens. Here are my great staff:

Chris is my lovely mum. We completed the reflexology and Indian head course together, allowing Chris to carry out these treatments aswell as taking care of the reception. Chris loves meeting people and is very friendly and people warm to her immediately. She loves reflexology and this really shows in her work. She is professional and an essential member of the team.

Shelley came to us on work experience 3 years ago from college, and I saw great potential in her, so I was delighted when I could offer her a job when she was fully qualified. Shelley is a dedicated member of the team, and has also carried out extra courses including MINX and specialised waxing. Shelley is great at making clients feel at ease and always eager to learn new skills. Her attitude and professionalism are first class.

Laura has worked with us for 1 year after completing beauty therapy at college. She covers the reception, and with her qualifications in beauty is able to answer any questions and give great advice. Laura also carries out treatments, which she loves. She is a bubbly, friendly girl who always has a smile on her face. She is always happy to help and is a great addition to the team.
